This is a rap.
Veteran hip-hop artist and music executive Sean “Diddy” Combs has listed his 10-bedroom, 17,000-square-foot Beverly Hills mansion for $61.5 million, according to real estate listings on Page Six.
The listing, whose price makes it the second most expensive now for sale in the exclusive Holmby Hills area, according to Realtor.com, comes roughly six months after Homeland Security raided it.
Much of the information about the March 25 raids — which also targeted Combs’ waterfront residence in Miami — is sketchy. However, multiple sources have said they were executed as part of a sex-trafficking investigation, with insiders telling NBC News that investigators are preparing to present evidence to a New York grand jury.
Authorities reportedly removed numerous electronic devices from both homes and opened safes inside. In July, Page Six reported that the raids caused “significant property damage” to both residences.
Not just anyone can line up to see this newly listed behemoth. The listing, represented by Kurt Rappaport of Westside Estate Agency, notes that the home will only be shown to “pre-qualified clients.”
The listing itself also doesn’t show any interior images.
Combs, 54, aims to make a tidy profit if the resident trades for the current asking price. He reportedly spent $39 million on it in 2014. (His Miami home, previously owned by Miami royalty Gloria and Emilio Estefan, cost Combs $35 million seven years later.)
And if a qualified customer goes through with purchasing this West Coast residence, they’ll be in illustrious company. Page Six notes that the area is home to Kylie Jenner, fashion scientist Alexandra Von Furstenberg and tech mogul Sean Parker.
Marketing images show the property standing behind hedges and with the mansion surrounding a manicured lawn. There are plenty of alfresco seating areas – and a number of large windows adorn the exterior.
The listing notes that the offering includes 1.3 acres. A cobbled path leads to the entrance, the foyer of which has a sweeping staircase flooded with light.
There is a large living room, a formal dining room, a chef’s kitchen and a wine cellar. As for other perks, there’s also a 35-seat theater, dual bathrooms and large closets in the master suite—and even a two-story guest house with a recording studio.
